The Tale of Pokkedo: A Dreamer’s Journey

The pandemic, however, gave me the unexpected gift of time. One afternoon, as I shuffled through those old cards, I was hit with a wave of childhood excitement. The intricate designs, the thrill of strategy, and the simple joy of collecting—it all came rushing back.

Curiosity led me online, where I discovered how much the TCG world had evolved. New games, fresh designs, and thriving communities welcomed me with open arms. What started as a trip down memory lane turned into a full-blown passion. I wasn’t just collecting again; I was exploring, trading, and even imagining my own card designs.

Rediscovering TCGs during such a challenging time brought more than entertainment—it brought joy, creativity, and a sense of connection. What began as an old hobby soon became a new chapter in my life, one that continues to inspire me every day.

From a young age, I had a fascination with two things: drawing and daydreaming. My mind was a boundless playground where creatures of all shapes and colors frolicked, each with unique quirks and personalities

“What if these characters were real?” I wondered one day. “What if people could collect them, trade them, and share their stories with others?”

Inspired by this idea, I began designing Pokkedo, a parody card collection featuring my quirky creations. Each card depicted one of my characters, complete with silly names, funny descriptions, and even imaginary abilities. My dream was simple: to make people laugh and remind them of the joy of being a kid.
